SpiceXpress to test electric cargo planes

SpiceXpress, the hived off cargo operations of SpiceJet, and Pifore Group have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to develop electric cargo planes.


While the official spokesperson of Spice only confirmed that the MoU was signed some time back without sharing other details, Sunil Tiwari, founder of Pifore Group in a Linked post, said: “We are delighted to get Spicejet support to bring revolutionary change in the Indian aviation sector.”

Pifore has also signed a MoU with US-based Bye Aerospace to deliver five electric cargo aircraft to be leased by SpiceXpress, Hindu BusinessLine reported.
