Doug Parker will retire as chief executive officer of American Airlines on March 31, 2022.
Robert Isom, currently president of American, will succeed Parker, according to this statement from American Airlines.
Isom will join the airline’s board of directors while Parker will continue to serve as chairman of American’s board.
American Airlines is firmly on its way to cross $1 billion cargo revenue for 2021 on high yields and strong demand.
