June 28, 2019: Atlanta-based logistics giant UPS officially opened its Plainfield, Indiana package sortation and distribution center. The Indianapolis-area facility initially started processing packages in 2017 during the busy holiday season while construction of the new “super hub” was still underway. Now the hub is operating at full capacity.
