 Bollore Logistics nominates Regis Darmois as CFO for South Asia

Bollore Logistics announces Regis Darmois for the position of Chief Finance Officer (CFO) for South Asia. Regis will be based in the Corporate Office in Gurgaon, India reporting directly to Sanjay Goel, CEO for South Asia.

“I’m delighted to have Regis Darmois joining the South Asia team and take on this key position. His background and leadership in association with his knowledge of the group will contribute to successfully achieve our targets and goals in the region,” commented Sanjay Goel.

Regis Darmois has more than 20 years of experience with Bollore Group. Prior to joining Bollore Logistics South Asia, he has been working for over 7 years with Bollore Transport and Logistics based in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire as CFO.

Regis, as a Chief Finance Officer, South Asia will be responsible for Finance, Credit Management, Operational Management Control, IT and Legal.

Scan Global Logistics (SGL) expands its extensive business in South Africa with opening a new office in Johannesburg. More job openings are expected heeding the call from the President of the Republic of South Africa on local employment creation and foreign investment to develop the South African economy.

Newly appointed general manager for South Africa, Jerome James, comments on customer advantages of setting up business in South Africa, "By establishing our own operation under our own brand, both new and existing customers will benefit from our proven ability to find the ideal, and when needed, entrepreneurial transport solutions. The new office is strategically placed in the business area of Sandton, Johannesburg to be close to many of our major customers. Scan Global Logistics will offer a full suite of services and solutions from day 1 within air, ocean, customs brokerage, warehousing, and domestic and cross-border trucking.
