DB Schenker, the global logistics service provider owned by Deutsche Bahn Group, has appointed Kinjal Pande as the new CEO for India and the Indian subcontinent, effective immediately.
Kinjal will succeed interim CEO Vivek Chopra who stepped in for Vishal Sharma since his move to a new role in China.
Pande brings wide experience from other leading global forwarders in the logistics industry, an official statement said.
“We are delighted to have a leader of Kinjal’s calibre take up the CEO position for DB Schenker in India,” says Asia-Pacific CEO Dr. Niklas Wilmking. “India is one of the key growth markets in the region and I am confident that Kinjal, who comes with a wealth of experience spanning various functions in the logistics industry, will be a great addition to the team.
