World’s largest jet engine is onboard of AirBridgeCargo’s Boeing 747-8

The 747-8 airplane was equipped with the propulsor core of the engine with the height of 2.85 cm and weight of 11,545kg in Chicago Aviation

February 1, 2020: AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) successfully completed transportation validation of the world’s largest jet engine, the GE9x, on Boeing 747-8 Freighter. The new GE9X engine, developed by GE Aviation, powers the Boeing 777X airplane. The 747-8 airplane was equipped with the propulsor core of the engine with the height of 2.85 cm and weight of 11,545kg in Chicago, IL together with GE representatives.
