Reji John At landfall Hurricane Harvey had winds in excess of 130 miles per hour, which placed it as a major Category 4 Hurricane, tying for the 18th strongest hurricane on landfall in the US since 1851 and ninth strongest in Texas. As one of the largest and most damaging Hurricanes in the US history, Harvey destroyed life and property across the state of Texas and the wrath of the nature threw life and businesses across Texas into complete disarray.
