The second-generation Maersk Triple-E vessels made a visit to APM Terminals Rotterdam on its maiden journey to Far East-Europe. The 20,568 TEU Madrid Maersk was launched in March 2017. This is the first of 11 of the Maersk Triple-E vessels to be delivered to the global container ship fleet service to be operated by Maersk Line and Swiss-based Mediterranean Shipping’s 2M Alliance.
