DHL Global Forwarding has received International Air Transport Association (IATA) CEIV certification for pharma handling for its air freight stations in Frankfurt and Hamburg. Following Leipzig earlier this year, two more German DHL sites have received the certification of the aviation industry's umbrella association.

Supply chain giant CEVA Logistics has enhanced its capabilities in Dublin with the introduction of a 15,000 square foot temperature-controlled facility at its Dublin warehouse. The new building has been constructed as an insulated building-within-a-building on the city's airport industrial park and will allow it to better serve customers with medical products requiring to be kept within a constant temperature range of 15-25 degrees.

Qatar Airways has announced additional daily non-stop flights to Colombo and Dhaka in response to the increased demand from passengers.

The Doha-based airline has increased its Colombo service from four to five flights per day from September 1, 2017, just one month after the last frequency increase. Its Dhaka service will increase from two to three flights per day, also effective from September 1, 2017.
