- June 19, 2019: Qatar Airways has placed an order to purchase five additional 777 freighters from Boeing at the Paris Air Show. The deal valued at $1.8 billion at list prices was signed in the presence of Jassim Saif Ahmed Al-Sulaiti, Qatari minister of transport and communications.
